Delicious! Convenient! Gluten-Free Frozen Pie Crust!

Frozen pie crust is convenient and tasty!

I like pies, but making pie crusts from scratch is time-consuming. While I was in high school, I used to make pie crusts from scratch. But after I discovered the convenient and delicious pre-made pie crusts, I’ve been an exclusively refrigerated pie crust lover. However, after finding my gluten intolerance, I sadly turned away from pies.
However, finding this pie shell brought me back to baking pies.

What’s great is that it’s delicious, convenient, sold in various stores, and very reasonably priced!

They are sold at major stores such as Safeway, Trader Joe’s, and Sprouts. (Note⚠️: At Trader Joe’s, this product is a seasonal item and they only carry it during the holiday season. However, I confirmed with the store that Sprouts sells it year-round.)

When I introduced this frozen pie crust to my friend, who came to dinner at our house, she said, “I didn’t know this was gluten-free. It’s the delicious band I’ve always used it.”

And since it’s vegan, it’s dairy-free and egg-free. No soy, no peanuts/tree nuts, no sesame seeds. It is a big supporter of allergy friends.

By the way, sesame seeds allergy sounds rare, but I have a friend who is allergic to sesame seeds.

The texture is a bit like a combination of pie and tart crust. I will post the next time I make a tart with it.
