Recently, a friend gave me “Mochi Rice Nuggets” from Trader Joe’s. When I tried it, the outside was crispy, and the taste was lightly salty – just as advertised on the package. In fact, the outside was so hard that I wondered if Japanese Okaki rice crackers were always this hard?
